Even the best cooks fail, sometimes.

An innocent attempt to make croutons the other night turned into an epic fail. There’s charbroiled, and then there’s char-mauled. This would be the latter.

Apparently 23 minutes at 400° is too long for making croutons. Next time we’ll try 11 or 12 minutes…and maybe check half way through!
