Day 40: Beans & Greens

There’s so much green happening in our garden! Green beans, green peppers, (green) broccoli! There is also a fair number of tomatoes, most of which are green but will be ripening and ready to eat soon!

Next to the broccoli, green beans are my favorite. They’re not bad fresh off the vine, but I prefer to roast them in the oven and eat them as “fries” with a little garlic salt! It is so satisfying to cook with one’s own home-grown produce.
